A chain of viral and allergic infections and a squint surgery for Liyana put a hold on all our activities. But I have decided to renew them with new vigour. I had on mind a project "stitched kid's art" from http://loo-sleycrafting.blogspot.com. A very small project easier than I thought.It is a cushion cover with quilt blocks in rainbow colours with her mermaid embroidered (shoddily) in the middle.
The mermaid is no match to the original drawing . Sorry, Tania. I hope she will be happy. It is supposed to be a surprise when she is back today from grandparents's.
Liyana got jealous and wanted a gift of her own. When I asked her what, her want turned out to be simple-a fish for her fishing line.
